Eclipse was a bit of a rough start for me- Bella’s sudden dire need to want/need to be a vampire just wasn’t settling for me- it was odd- I thought it was getting a bit much. I think the break in her running to Jacob, her best friend, and Rosalie’s heart-to-heart, was the turning point for me- since those moments the book has been an easier read- it’s like the weight has lifted off.
Especially now, when Edward comes back from his weekend getaway (keeping Bella hostage with his family)- where he tells Bella, that he trusts her and that if she thinks she’s safe with Jake- then he’ll take her word.
