Favorite Moments of 2013

Inspired by Andy of Style Scrapbook, I thought I’d put together a collection of my favorite (instagrammed) moments of 2013, accompanied by the reason why it was a favorite moment.

I hope you all have a happy happy New Year’s Eve!

Sending you wishes for a happy, healthy and full-of-love 2014!

Kicked off 2013 with a beautiful view of the London Eye w/ my Family. I had never done anything as exciting for NYE before this.

I was never a big history buff in HS but through traveling I’ve found an appreciation for historical sites like Stonehenge. This was an amazing moment.
4
Stumbled on this writing on the platform of the 1 train on a day when I really needed the reassurance.
5
The day my ex surprised me at work and brought me this iPhone case. It was my favorite for a long time – until it broke, like our relationship.
6
The day I heard Junot Diaz speak, followed by shaking his hand, and his signature on my Mom’s original “DROWN” from 2001.
7
Spending the weekend in Washington D.C. for my BFF’s birthday, stumbling through Chinatown and this beautiful archway.
8
When my sister graduated from Columbia University – super proud moment.
9
First beach day. Perfection.
10
Mermaid Parade in Brooklyn – beautiful day, amazing and creative people dressed up all over, and Coney Island. What else does a girl need?
11
24 hour trip to A.C. for the first time as a belated birthday gift from my BFF Michelle. Stayed in the Tropicana, clubbed to my fave music that night and day-drank on the beach the next day… all day.
12
First outdoor music concert on one of the piers on the Hudson… on an absolutely beautiful evening.
13
This day-brunch with 2 of my favorites. This picture just kind of captured a group of beautiful people enjoying life – and I can’t ask for more.
14
The 2nd and last beach day of my Summer 2013 but this was in NJ which was my first beach day near the Jersey Shore. Another perfect day with some perfect friends.
15
This perfect Fall day. So beautiful that I just went down to the waterfront in my town and looked out into the Hudson.
16
Fall isn’t complete without apple picking, cider, fall leaves and flannel shirts.
17
The first light snow of Fall/Winter. Beautiful. Click to watch.

First NHL/Rangers game! Super exciting and fun to watch.
19
Having my mom home for the holidays! Love her so.

Watching the Radio City Christmas Spectacular again, specifically the Rockette’s, after many years. Click to watch.
