I went to CVS and invested in a cheap $1 clear nail polish that I found by Confetti (can’t find a website anywhere)- and went to work on “painting” the inside of this ring- after several coats that dried fairly quickly- I decided to put the ring on the next morning.
8 hours later at the end of the work day- I slipped the ring off… and DA DAHHH- no verdigris!!
Highly recommend this for your favorite rings, necklaces, bracelets that aren’t the “real deal” :)!
