The comfy, cozy, trend-setting that IS the 2011 Fall season continues. Women of New York are WORKING IT, and making it look REALLY easy. Too bad it hasn’t come as easy to me.
New job= new wardrobe=spending $$$= eh, I have bills to pay.
So I’m taking the shopping sales route and hoping I find the trends I love this season along the way. The ladies of @MarieClaire never miss a beat– so you know they hit the streets to find Fall 2011’s best-of, and these are my favorite of the 97 trendy ladies of NYC they found:

Flannel, plaids, patterns, bulky sweaters/scarves, FUR, fur, faux fur galore! Oh…padded elbow blazers, how I wish I didn’t have such large shoulders so I could get some trendy blazers.
If you didn’t know…the polyester/rayon lining of most blazers make them about 1 size smaller on your arms/back. It’s nearly impossible for me to find a blazer that, while staying fitted to my torso, fits my shoulders and arms.
