Meet Beckham, or well, an equally as visually appealing gargantuan statue of him.
I heard about the new local marketing/digital Instagram sweeps via the H&M partnership “David Beckham for H&M” last week, but I honestly didn’t think I’d bump into one of the statues in NYC.
Low and behold, moseying about at the South Street Seaport yesterday, I saw him, all 10 feet of him. The adonis of my dreams towering over me in all his chrome glory.
H&M instagram sweepstakes aside, I had to closely examine him. My main question? Is it proportional? Obviously the scale is blown, but are the original dimensions and measurements accurate? Similar to how they would measure someone for a wax figure at Madame Tussauds? Either way, Victoria Beckham, you are a lucky, lucky woman and I am incredibly jealous of your marriage. He has the most perfect glutes and hamstrings, and quads (among other things) I’ve ever seen.
After examining, a photo was pertinent; for myself, but to also instagram and tweet out alla #HMBECKHAM to enter the sweeps. Lucky winners can snag a $1K shopping spree at H&M (god knows I need it!) signed briefs by Beckham or a 1 foot tall limited edition David Beckham for H&M statue.

Not only does posting on instagram enter you to the sweeps, but your photo also gets posted on the site! LOVE instagram walls;
So, I’m sorry… what are you waiting for? Why haven’t you gone for your photo opp?
